The easiest way to get Nvidia drivers for your specific graphics card is to head over to Nvidia’s website and download GeForce Experience. This software will sit on your PC and check automatically for driver updates that your graphics card can make use of. It also offers additional utility such as automatically optimising your game settings, allowing you to capture your gameplay with Nvidia’s Shadowplay technology. Once you have downloaded and installed the software, open it up and head to the Drivers tab. The software will automatically detect your driver version and suggest an update if your drivers are out of date.
How to update AMD graphics card drivers
The easiest way to update your AMD Graphics Drivers is to head over to their website here. Use the menus on AMD’s website to find your graphics card model. If you don’t know what graphics card you have installed, go to your desktop, press your Windows Key + R, type ‘dxdiag’ into the box that appears and hit enter. A window will pop up displaying your system information, and at the top you’ll find a display tab. Go into this tab and you’ll find your graphics card model. Alternatively, if you have Steam installed on your computer you can install AMD Graphics drivers through Steam. Open up Steam and head up to the ‘Steam’ menu at the top left, and click the ‘Update AMD Video Drivers…’ option and follow the instructions.
